Snow in Rexburg
(4.29.10) It is snowing in Rexburg again. A little late for snow some may think, but they have obviously never lived in Rexburg, Idaho. Rexburg is the kind of place where a person can experience snow, hail, rain, sun, and overcast all in an hour period. Why is this? Probably the constant wind that blows the weather and seasons into a frenzy, leaving us wondering what month it is. Why, in July of 2008 it snowed furiously for thirty minutes and then abruptly melted (as it was otherwise a sunny day). If America is a melting-pot of culture, surely Rexburg has that claim on weather.

Hooray! School is out.
(4.10.10) Brigham Young University- Idaho has come to a close for two weeks, and our host has been freed from the chains of homework and finals. He is "relieved" he says, and is "glad [he] can finally get some sleep after 3 months of none." He will be returning in September, but until then he plans to find some form of work, prepare for and take the GRE, finish his couches, play tennis, golf, maybe soccer and go hiking. "It is going to be a glorious summer."
To Seattle and Back Again...
(3.27.10) This week Loren went on an Internship Expedition to Seattle. He visited several companies including Boeing, Amazon, T-Mobile, Microsoft, State Farm, KPMG and Moss Adams. He plans on applying for T-Mobile, Microsoft and KPMG in the next few days. He received lots of toys from these businesses. State Farm is an interesting company. While in Seattle he ate lots of good food, became the navigator and went to bed early. That was a big change for him.
Finally Caught Up!
(3.13.2010) Finally after several weeks of being behind in school, Loren has been brought up to speed. His several projects and tests, and grading for Professor Walburger have been caught up, and he only had to turn in one assignment late. What luck!
Tonya, his wife, in the same week of Loren quitting found a job at an apartment complex. It is truly amazing how things work out when we just let things be controlled by that invisible hand. Loren has been helping a lot more around the house, and his grades are getting better. Tonya is more tired and busy, but Loren is back on top of his game. Thank you, Tonya.
Loren Quits at Scenic Falls
(2.20.2010) This afternoon after miserably failing an economics test, Loren Crawford, frustrated at himself and how poorly he is doing e-mailed his two weeks notice to his manager Shelly Snarr. Unfortunately, he maxed himself out with too much to do with too little time. Reportedly, Loren's first priority is his family and second schooling right now. Work was only a means to an end for him.
Loren said his last day was at the end of the month.
